Ingredients
A Coruña’s city water, two row-barley malt (Pilsen and roasted), maize and Nugget and Perle hops. Hijos de Rivera’s own yeast strain.
Brewing process
Brewed by Hijos de Rivera’s Brewmasters in the only Company’s brewery placed in A Coruña. It takes a whole
month to be brewed, half of it inside the maturing tanks.
Food pairing suggestions
CHEESE: Wide range. From semi-mature to hard cheeses.
VEGETABLES: Dishes cooked with garlic, tomato and vegetables present a good balancewith this beer.
MUSHROOMS: Estrella Galicia Special Lager boosts sweet/bitter/earthy flavors like in mushrooms and some nuts.
FISH: Cooked as fish stews.
MEAT: Chicken and rabbit. The pairing will be enhanced if oven roasting is involved, specially with aromatic and oily dressings.
