Tasting Notes:
V&A Lane Shiraz offers a fresh, spicy take on a classic style, while retaining the variety’s signature silky, succulent palate. Crafted to highlight a lighter, more modern expression, it features early harvesting, bright red fruit, lower alcohol, whole bunch fermentation, wild yeasts, and maturation in large oak barrels—resulting in a vibrant, food-friendly wine.
Amid Wynns’ patchwork of vineyards on the famous terra rossa strip lies V&A Lane—a long, straight road surveyed in 1851, once marking the boundary between the Victoria and Albert electorates. The mature Shiraz vines here ripen early, making them among the first harvested each season.
