Wild Turkey Bourbon 101

With roots going back to 1869, Wild Turkey Bourbon is a super-premium American bourbon, made in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky by Master Distiller Jimmy Russell and his son Eddy Russell. Unchanged for 60 years, this bottling of Wild Turkey 101 is a marriage of 6 to 8 year old bourbon. With a barrel strength of 109 proof, it is only slightly diluted before bottling at 101 proof with plenty of pep.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Gentle yet rich with deep vanilla, caramel and oaky nose. And, a slight hint of oranges and toffee.

PALATE
Rich and powerful, with an explosion if bold spice and black pepper, and hints of dried fruit.

BACKTASTE
Extremely long, deep and smooth, with a recognizable burn.
