Grapes:
90% Sangiovese, 10% Red Native Grapes
Tasting Notes:
Brilliant ruby red in color, the wine has floral aromas of wild rose, fruity Marasca jam, spicy pink pepper, and mace. The palate is dry and well-structured, both savory and fresh, with vivid tannins.
Food Pairing:
This wine is an excellent partner for pasta with mushroom sauce, aromatic white meat, roast lamb, or semi-ripened cheese. This wine pairs excellently with steak, lamb chops, or various mature cheeses.
With winemaking heritage dating back to 1480, Gabbiano invites you on a journey into the world of Tuscan wine.
Winemaking:
The wine underwent primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. To maintain all of the fruit’s beautifully fresh aromas, flavors, and textures, it was then matured briefly, without oak, before bottling.
Aging:
This is a young, easy-to-enjoy wine that’s meant to be sipped within the first two years of its life.
