Tasting Notes:
Its innovative crafting process involves ageing the wine in oak bourbon barrels for 12 months, rendering aromas of smoke, caramel and chocolate, with notes of candy and vanilla. On the palate, the use of medium toast barrels translates into flavours of vanilla and cooked red fruits such as blueberries and plums.
The grapes in this Malbec have been sourced from carefully selected parcels with very low yields per vine, resulting in wines of a deeply purple colour with black hues, hence the name The Black Malbec.
